Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.
The Soldiers Table Revealed
The latest chapter finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of characters who will branch out from the central cast to begin their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.
This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (played by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).
Why Split the Party?
Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.
This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.
What Defines the Warrior Group
Per the DM, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are few and far between.
Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem unsuited, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.
Reasons to Leave
First, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.
A former ally of the deceased character—whose death started the narrative’s action—used the foes for his personal gain, invading Thjazi’s hideout, striking Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.
Casimir then cleared his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, above the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.
Character Drivers
Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants revenge.
- Kattigan knows the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
- Tyranny and The healer, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
- Yet, their status as important members in the influential clan could help the group reach places they normally couldn’t.
- Furthermore, The fighter pledged a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him wherever.
Pursued by Authorities
Finally, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
- The warrior and The cleric defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- Teor is marked for death by the family.
This results in them no alternative but to head to the remote area in search of the antagonist.
Future Episodes
According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight players to assemble the Questers and Schemers tables.
