In a bizarre collaboration that challenges usual forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the formal release, "A strange encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations echo through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret group.

The questline focuses on "strange experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an special katana alongside numerous objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
